“Hero Alam”, a  hero we don’t want but do need!

A hero is someone who sacrifices himself, frequently placing his own life in danger, for the sake of others. In movies, a hero is typically the one with the most physically appealing features. To me, a hero is someone who has the ability to protest and take action.

Hero Alam: Is he really a hero? On social media, Hero Alam attracts a sizable fan base. So, does that make him a “Hero” now?

Hero Alam is renowned for his bizarre acts for amusement. He prefaces his name with “Hero,” but just adding a name doesn’t make someone a hero. Through social media, he literally offers humorous relief, which has helped him gain a large following. People enjoy watching his videos for entertainment. People don’t take him seriously, rather, people take him as a joke. As our daily lives become a mess, the crowd can use a good laugh. Therefore, when individuals access social media, they find Hero Alam’s antics amusing. That’s all I have to say about his entertainment pursuits.

Now let’s talk about a crucial point. Cultural critics say his actions are not up to par, yet he is quite outspoken about social issues. It’s unexpected in a way. A nation is built on its cultural identity. But for whatever reason, the elite of our culture lacks this virtue; instead, they favor allegiance to any group that would benefit them personally. In this instance, this ‘Hero Alam’ is different. Remember the national election in 2018? Alam ran in the national election. Only Hero Alam, as far as I can tell, has voiced criticism of the election’s results. I’m attempting to make the point that every citizen has the right to contest an election. You must speak out when this right is curtailed. Hero Alam was demonstrating for both his rights and the rights of his people, which I considered to be important. You cannot dispute the heroism displayed in this situation.

Following police summons and detention for his warped renditions of Rabindra and Nazrul songs, Alam has lately found himself in the public eye. Social media users voiced their disapproval of this. Is it permissible for law enforcement to determine who is allowed to sing and who is not? Everyone acknowledges that what Alam performs for entertainment is implausible. This is a cheap publicity gimmick. However, until he breaks the law, the authorities are not allowed to summon or arrest him for this. I’m admiring him again at this moment. Only a small number of people possess the courage to openly criticize the system.

I agree with the idea that no government has the right to enslave its citizens. This is the kind of courage we occasionally seek. People today desire to become viral because it increases their fame and fan base. Hero Alam is a common example. People are entitled to what they want to view or ignore. It is up to them whether they choose to ignore Alam or appreciate his comic relief. So, is it okay to call Hero Alam a “Real Hero”? I do consider him to be a “Hero”. I continue to hold the view that a hero is someone who has the guts to speak up and take action. Hero Alam possesses both traits. Hero Alam is unquestionably a hero.
